The Federal Government has extended its advocacy on the “Snacks for Thought” initiative under the PBAT FEEDS programme to Lagos State, with a call on individuals and corporate organisations to support school feeding through the adoption of schools and classrooms. The National Coordinator of the Renewed Hope National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme, Princess Aderemi Adebowale, made the call on Wednesday at a news conference held in Alausa, Lagos. Adebowale said the initiative was designed to provide meals for pupils, improve school attendance and support the Federal Government’s efforts to enhance access to quality education. She said the programme aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and would contribute significantly to reducing the number of out-of-school children across the country. Disbursement By Aderonke Ojediran The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) has disbursed N15 billion to about 20,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state. The Executive Secretary of LSETF, Mrs Feyisayo Alayande, disclosed this at a news conference on Monday at Alausa, Ikeja, during which she gave account of the agency’s stewardship in the past decade. No fewer than 1,600 pilgrims from Lagos State who participated in the 2026 Hajj in Saudi Arabia have returned safely to Nigeria, marking the successful conclusion of the state’s pilgrimage operations. The arrival of the final batch of 187 pilgrims at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, on Saturday brought the 2026 Hajj exercise to a close.
