Lagos affirms commitment to ensuring more effective health insurance system

  LASHMA Dr Emmanuella Zamba, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA), has affirmed the agency’s commitment to ensuring a more effective health insurance system. Zamba gave the assurance this during the Eko Social Health Alliance (EKOSHA) Town Hall Meeting for Lagos Health Districts. The event held at Bariga Local Council Development Area Hall, on Thursday. LASG wants residents to key into Ilera Eko Insurance scheme

    Insurance By Aderonke Ojediran Lagos, March 26, 2025 (NAN) The Lagos State Government has urged residents to take advantage of Ilera Eko Health and Social Insurance scheme to enhance their wellbeing.   Dr Emmanuella Zamba, the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA), gave the advice at the 2025 first quarter news conference held at Alausa, Lagos on Wednesday.   Zamba gave an update of the Ilera Eko Health Scheme and other strategic interventions so far.   She said that Gov. Patronise registered surveyors APPSN urge residents

The Association of Private Practising Surveyors of Nigeria (APPSN) Lagos Chapter has charged its members to improve their knowledge of surveying practices.  The body pledged to strengthen advocacy efforts aimed at educating the public on the benefits of patronizing Registered Surveyors.  The call was made during the swearing-in of new Executive Council Members at the 2025 Annual General Meeting and Luncheon with the theme: ''Unlock The Untapped Potential in Surveying Profession''. Global Surveyors Day: Stakeholders task Lagos Govt. on collaboration

The institute made the call on Friday in Lagos at the commemoration of the 2025 Global Surveyors Day with the theme: “Shaping the New World on the Wisdom of Surveying”. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Olukayode Kasim, Chairman of the chapter, said that such collaboration would foster deeper understanding and enhance fruitful work relationship.   The Lagos State Government has charged young people to embrace Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a vital tool for enhancing creativity, innovation, and economic growth.
